About the role
As a BDR Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Business Development Representatives to generate qualified leads, develop outreach strategies, and support the sales pipeline. You will play a key role in setting goals, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the team meets its targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BDRs, providing coaching and support.
- Develop and implement effective outbound and inbound sales strategies.
- Set performance goals and monitor key metrics to ensure team success.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve prospecting and outreach techniques.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track and analyze sales performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations.
- Report on team performance and provide actionable insights to management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or coaching role within a BDR or sales team.
- Strong understanding of outbound prospecting techniques, cold calling, and email outreach.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Ability to analyze data, set KPIs, and drive performance improvements.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Based in Cancún, Mexico.
