Fair Usage Policy

1. Why do we have a Fair Usage Policy?

This Fair Usage Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all individuals and entities using Tastewise’s software and services (collectively, “users” or “you”). It is designed to safeguard the integrity, reliability and quality of our Platform and offerings. By adhering to this Policy, you help us ensure the highest standards of service and enhance your overall experience with Tastewise.

2. Growth Snapshots, Growth Narratives & AskTastewise

What does this Policy cover?
Our Platform offers three types of reports:

  • Growth Snapshot: A one-page view of key data and growth opportunities.
  • Growth Narrative: A detailed, multi-slide report for strategic or complex questions.
  • AskTastewise: Consumer surveys delivering insights from hundreds of thousands of potential consumers.

Processing Limits and Delivery Commitments
You are encouraged to submit as many queries as you’d like for Growth Snapshots, Growth Narratives and AskTastewise! 

To provide the best results, our platform delivers responses as follows:

  • Growth Snapshots will be delivered within a maximum of two (2) business days; and
  • Growth Narratives and AskTastewise queries will be delivered within a maximum of five (5) business days.

However, to ensure that everyone receives the best possible service and to maintain a fair experience for all users, the maximum daily amount we will process within the guaranteed timelines above for each user is:

  • no more than three (3) queries for Growth Snapshots; and
  • no more than two (2) queries for each of Growth Narratives and AskTastewise.

The maximum monthly amount we will process for each user within the guaranteed timelines above is:

  • thirty (30) queries for Growth Snapshots; and
  • fifteen (15) queries for each of Growth Narratives and AskTastewise.

Note that we will always do our best to respond to all queries and, whenever possible, deliver them faster, provided that doing so does not disrupt the quality or reliability of service for other users.

Avoiding Duplicate Topic Requests – Growth Snapshots and Growth Narratives
To ensure efficient delivery and avoid duplicative work, only one report format can be requested per topic at a time. This means you may choose either a Growth Snapshot or a Growth Narrative for a specific topic, but not both simultaneously. Once one request is completed, you’re of course welcome to submit the other format if needed.

Growth Narratives During Onboarding
Users in the onboarding phase of their engagement may process queries for “market overview” typed Growth Narratives only. To ensure the best possible experience while you are learning the platform, responses during onboarding for Growth Narrative queries will be delivered within a maximum of eight (8) business days. 

3. What if you exceed the current Growth Snapshots, Growth Narratives or AskTastewise or limit?

No problem at all! If you reach the daily or monthly limit, any extra queries for Growth Snapshots, Growth Narratives and AskTastewise that exceed these limits will be accepted and processed on a best-effort basis, and may take longer than the business days mentioned herein to deliver. If we are able to process your queries faster, we will do so! Your Account Manager will support you every step of the way and clearly communicate the status of your queries to ensure you gain the most value out of our Platform.

4. Changes to the Policy

Tastewise may change the content of this Policy, subject to posting the updated Policy on our website.
