About the role
The Bookkeeper position will be a key position within the organization and the finance department, reporting to the Director of Finance and ensuring all aspects of day-to-day finances run smoothly.
The role's responsibilities include full ownership of all bookkeeping aspects, including:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets.
- Manage bank and credit cards reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Responsible for Accounts Receivable, including invoicing in multi currencies, AR aging, and collections, for the company and its subsidiary.
- Responsible for Account Payable – processing new vendors (local and foreign), recording invoices and preparing payments.
- Support in VAT and ITA reporting.
- Prepare the trial balance and supporting documentation for the monthly closing process.
- Manage accruals and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis
- Provide support during financial audits and tax filings.
- Manage intercompany entries and reconciliations.
- Review and process expense reimbursements and travel reports.
- Our office is located in Tel-Aviv, 4 days from the office
Requirements
- Experience working NetSuite - Must
- Certified bookkeeper (Type 3)
- At least 5 years of experience as an independent bookkeeper in a global company (preferably a tech company)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong English – verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience with bookkeeping of US companies
- Highly motivated and committed, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
- Team player with a proactive approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
