- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
- Finely chop the onions and garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet, and stir to combine.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the onion and garlic mixture, pressing down gently to pack the filling.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the tops to brown slightly.
